Control cable is a commonly used cable in industrial sites, mainly used to transmit control signals. Simply put, it is to send instructions to various equipment to start, stop or adjust the status of the machine according to requirements. It is different from cables used to transmit electrical energy, as it does not undertake high current power supply tasks and focuses on ensuring stable signal transmission.

It is used in many automation equipment and control cabinets. When the operator presses a button on the control panel, the signal will be transmitted to the on-site equipment through the control cable, achieving remote control. A cable contains multiple small core wires, each of which is responsible for a signal. This way, one cable can transmit multiple commands simultaneously, making wiring much simpler.

Signal transmission is most afraid of interference. The outer layer of the control cable generally has a protective layer, which can reduce the electromagnetic influence generated by surrounding electrical appliances, avoid signal confusion, and prevent equipment misoperation. During equipment debugging and operation, the accuracy of signals directly affects whether the entire system can work properly.

Its usage scenarios are mostly in indoor cabinets and cable trays, and some are also laid outdoors or underground. During construction, try not to forcefully pull or bend the cables to prevent the internal fine core wires from breaking. As long as it is laid reasonably and protected properly, the control cable can transmit control signals stably for a long time, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire automatic control system.
