When using wires and cables in daily life, it is common to encounter situations where the length is not enough and needs to be extended. Many people just twist them twice and use them, which can easily leave hidden dangers.
Before wiring, be sure to completely disconnect the power supply and do not operate with electricity to avoid the risk of electric shock. Peel off the outer layer of the joint between the two wires to expose the clean core inside. Do not let the core get stained with oil or dust, otherwise it may cause poor contact and heat up after connection.

Tighten the cores of the two wires together without leaving loose ends. After twisting, wrap them tightly with insulating tape, at least three or four layers, to ensure that the joint position is completely non-conductive and will not touch anything else. After connecting, do not leave the connector in a suspended or easily pulled position. It is best to fix the connector on the wall or in the cable tray to avoid it being pulled apart later.
If wiring is done in a damp outdoor environment, it is best to wrap the insulation tape with a waterproof special joint sleeve to prevent moisture from seeping in. Don't try to save time by simply connecting two wires together and turning on the power. This method of connection won't take long to have problems.
